LAZARUS HOUSE MINISTRIES’

EVENTS – 2020 and Beyond

Embracing New Ways to Connect

We are all getting accustomed to new protocols and ways of interacting that have been weaved into the fabric of our society, and although we don’t know for how long, we already know from experience that Compassion CANNOT be quarantined.

We are excited to announce a new partnership with AJ Williams Events. This new partnership will ensure continued excellence in experience and connection no matter how we choose to come together at our Signature Events during this extraordinary year, and in years to come.

We commit to “gather” for these events to benefit our cherished Guests!

We invite you to bring your passion for Lazarus House and your hearts for our Guests to each of our critical fundraising events – GOLF, HIKE, GALA – as we unfold exactly what they will look like.

UPDATE:

Our commitment to our Guests doesn’t change, but rest assured we will keep you apprised of any changes or updates due to COVID-19 or weather as they become available.

The 2020 Drive for Dignity has been changed to Monday, August 31. It will again be played at The Andover Country Club, one of New England’s finest private courses. Join us for this new experience day of golf with interactive activities along the course and your chance to win one-of-a-kind experiences. Morning and afternoon golfers will both enjoy a mid-day Barbecue on the Garden for some fun outdoor activities, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and barbecue on the grill.

There will be two rounds of golf, one with tee times beginning at  7:00 a.m. and another beginning at 12:00 p.m. The tournament will be a four-person scramble. Morning golfers will enjoy a boxed continental breakfast before the round and afternoon golfers will enjoy boxed goodies. Limited spots are available and will sell out fast this year due to a limited amount of 134 golfers. Each round (morning round and afternoon round) will have on-course activities, on course culinary delights provided by Tuscan Kitchen, and tournament winners. This will be a fun filled event for golfers and non-golfers alike in support of the life-giving programs Lazarus House provides to our Guests..

The Drive for Dignity event is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to strengthen business relationships in a relaxed setting while helping to fund critical Lazarus House programs. You won’t want to miss out!

The fee per foursome is $1,250. To find out more or learn about our sponsor experiences and partnerships contact AJ Williams at aj@ajwevents.com or 617-267-2244.

SAVE THE DATE!

Sunday, September 27, 2020.

Hundreds of thoughtful people will Hike for Hope to raise much needed funds for people in our community in dire need. The young and the young at heart will walk 3 miles together with friends, families, co-workers, schools, civic and faith based organizations through the picturesque streets of Andover, Mass.

Kid’s FUN RUN!  We are once again going to host a kid’s fun run before our 3-mile walk.  This run is open to all kids ages 10 and under.   It will kick off at noon with a course set around the Park for all our young athletes who want to support Lazarus House!

Under the direction of Dave McGillivray, President, DMSE Sports, Inc. and Race Director of the Boston Marathon, this family and community-focused fall event is a celebration of music, entertainment, food and the goodness of people coming together to help those in need among us.

Partnership and sponsorship opportunities are available for companies, local businesses and individuals looking to receive positive exposure in the Merrimack Valley while team building and making a real difference in people’s lives.

Sharing our Bounty

dsc_8692_pfiser

Lazarus House has created its very first digital version of their annual event Sharing Our Bounty. The event will be both Live and Online to benefit life-changing programs, as well as raise awareness and funds to provide support and services for families and individuals whose lives have been dramatically impacted by COVID-19. You will now be able to attend a digital version of this esteemed event and network digitally with attendees from Merrimack Valley. This event promises to be a passion-filled interactive experience with a 360-degree virtual experience you’ll never forget.

The event begins with a live Sharing Our Bounty cocktail hour or pour your favorite beverage and join in virtually and connect with others before the exciting program begins. Cocktails are followed by a program featuring a live auction and entertainment by TBD. The LIVE event will conclude with a culinary reception. More than 1,000 guests are expected to attend Live (with social distancing) and Online.

While our day-to-day and social situations have changed the way we live our own lives, poverty, homelessness and food insecurity do not stop during times of crisis; in fact, right now our guests, our community, are more vulnerable than ever. Sharing our Bounty showcases the impact that kindness, love and compassion can make in the lives of individuals and families living in the darkness of poverty. More than ever we need you to be the light and hope that restores dignity and changes lives. —JOIN US.

Third Party Fundraisers

lazarus-boston-marathon

Lazarus House Ministries is very fortunate to receive requests from caring organizations and individuals who wish to hold a third-party event or for the use of cause-related marketing for their business.

Third-party Events are activities that are designed and run by non-staff to raise money on behalf of Lazarus House. They are typically conducted locally by individuals with minimal support from our organization. The types of activities that these local supporters conduct are quite literally endless, but some of the more commonly held events are bake sales, auctions, yard sales, restaurant events and dinner parties. Other activities also involve athletes who want to tie their training and athletic accomplishments to a fundraising goal. Third-party Fundraising events are perfect for religious groups, school or chamber groups, family, friends, organizations and corporations.

Thank you for considering hosting a Lazarus House third-party event to promote awareness and raise funds to assist people living in poverty in the Merrimack Valley.
