Advocacy

Advocacy at Lazarus House

Advocates at Lazarus House Ministries work directly with Guests to remove barriers, connect them to vital resources, and represent their interests at the city and state levels. By combining individualized care, collaboration within the community, and advocacy, we help ensure Guests have the personal support and access needed to assist them in becoming self-sufficient.

INDIVIDUALIZED CARE

Advocates meet one-on-one with Guests to understand their needs and help navigate systems such as housing, employment, and healthcare.

WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY

Our case managers collaborate with local organizations, acting as a bridge between Guests and our service partners, including but not limited to DCF, city housing offices, and substance abuse clinics.

City and State Advocacy

Lazarus House Ministries is a trusted voice on issues of homelessness and food insecurity, regularly interacting with local and state authorities.
