Lazarus House Ministries welcomes Gail C. Favreau as our new Director of Development
Gail comes to Lazarus House with more than 16 years of non-profit development experience, including extensive knowledge in major and individual giving, securing corporate partnerships, events, board relations, strategy execution and stewardship. She feels deeply connected to the Lazarus House Ministries’ mission and is looking forward to being in the position to make a stronger difference in people’s lives in the Merrimack Valley.

In her new position as Director of Development at Lazarus House Ministries, Gail will serve on the executive leadership team and report to Executive Director Carmen H. Vega. She will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to lead a team in engaging external stakeholders to increase philanthropic support for Lazarus House Ministries’ programs and community services.
Most recently, Gail served as Associate Vice President of Development, at the American Heart Association. In this role, she developed a comprehensive fundraising plan to secure and grow new commitments, successfully managed a portfolio of over 200 prospects including major and corporate donors, as well as board members, raising over a million dollars for the Heart Walk. Gail spent eight years combined at the Greater Boston Food Bank and the Pine Street Inn, increasing donor engagement, funding program opportunities and leading large-scale events with a focus of increasing awareness.
Lazarus House Ministries is a private non-profit organization in Lawrence, MA that helps people dealing with the various challenges of poverty. The organization offers food, shelter, clothing, community resources, and advocacy services to those in need. These services are completed with an open and non-judgmental heart and each person helped is treated as a Guest, served with dignity and respect.
