82 degrees and breezy –a perfect day on the beautiful Andover Country Club Golf Course for the 24th annual Lazarus House fundraising golf tournament. Doug Cook, LHM board president said “I am always struck anew with the spirit of camaraderie both on the course and at the auction. The hearts of people banding together for the good of another is palpable. I am proud to serve this Ministry.”

Billy Costa (Kiss 108) and Coach Fazio tag-teaming for highest auction proceeds ever.

Emcee Billy Costa (Kiss 108) tag-teamed with Andover’s own, Coach Dave Fazio (auctioneer), for the highest fundraising live auction in Lazarus House’ 24 years of hosting the Drive for Dignity Golf Tournament.

Record attendance for both morning and afternoon rounds saw terrific numbers come in for the “Fund the Mission” campaign – a challenge orchestrated by Joe Faro (Tuscan Brands and Tournament Premier Sponsor) with total value matched in warm blankets for our homeless guests by Maxwell Perry (Beantown Blankets). And the 2020 Master’s tickets winner? None other than Coach Fazio!

Tuscan Brands delighted with on-course meatball sliders and a Gelato tent while Enterprise Bank hosted a putting contest with four Red Sox tickets to the winning golfer!

Jeff Hassel, new LHM Executive Director noted after only 3 weeks on the job, “Today, as I greeted people on the 15th tee, I heard in a hundred comments how respected LHM is for the way we touch the lives of our Guests through God’s blessings in our supporters, donors, staff and volunteers. I was honored to begin building relationships at this tournament with those who have made and continue to make LHM a beacon of light for our cherished Guests. I look forward to the future and our collective efforts to innovate and grow the life-changing impact of LHM”.

A truly collaborative community event for the benefit of the courageous people we serve – materially poor, under-served and homeless individuals and families.
