Ishah House opened in June 2015 as transitional housing for single women without children in their care who are at-risk or homeless.
Ishah House has been remodeled and opened in June 2015 as a three-year transitional housing program for single, at-risk women or women who are homeless. Ishah House will provide a safe, stable and structured but independent home environment where women can gain confidence, knowledge about community resources and learn skills that will promote their self-sufficiency. Women will have an individual service plan in which they would be able to monitor their goals as they move through the program. As part of living in a supportive home environment residents will be required to participate in educational workshops and activities that will improve life and interpersonal skills.
