The Feinstein Foundation Offers $1 Million Challenge in the Fight Against Hunger

The challenge is simple: your donation to Lazarus House, received between March 1 through April 30, will qualify Lazarus House for a portion of the challenge grant. The more food and funds raised during these critical two months, the more funding Lazarus House will receive.

Project Bethlehem

During the Christmas Season, Project Bethlehem provides many families no longer living in the shelter, with gifts from anonymous volunteer families that make this season happy and peaceful.

Each Christmas season, gifts and several days worth of food are provided to hundreds of families in the local community, and, to those living at Lazarus House.

There is also a Christmas celebration at the shelter. Families and children who are staying at the house receive gifts courtesy of Project Bethlehem

The Rainbow Festival

The Rainbow Festival is a summer celebration that brings together ethnically diverse communities in the neighborhoods surrounding Lazarus House Ministries. It provides a day of fun, food, games and prizes to those with little means for summer family fun.

There is always a great neighborhood turnout and all are welcome!

Bethany Retreats

Bethany Retreats are held throughout the year and bring many young people from colleges, high schools and churches to Lazarus House to serve, volunteer, and to learn about the plight of the poor. Some Bethany retreats are a week long and some are for a weekend.
