Lazarus House will not have a team in the 2010 Boston Marathon. Check the B.A.A. website (www.baa.org) for a list of organizations with teams.

Congratulations to the 2009 Hunger Strikers Boston Marathon Team

After months of training, the Hunger Strikers took on the challenge of the Boston Marathon on April 20. Please join us in applauding their physical accomplishments as well as their willingness to help others.

The run is over but it is not too late to donate to the new food pantry!

The Hunger Strikers are committed to the renovations and continued restocking of the newly purchased Lazarus House Food Pantry by running the 113th Boston Marathon® on April 20^th, 2009.

As part of the Official Charity Program of the Boston Marathon, each runner chosen received a waiver good for entry into the Boston Marathon as well as coaching and other great benefits such as team uniform, race day bus to Hopkinton, pasta dinner, team meetings and expert coaching by Bill Pennington of Andover. In return, each runner on the team must raise a minimum of $3,000 for the food pantry project.
